Nottingham tramway

A £450,000,000 project, Boretech completed all of the reinforced concrete works for the tram rail and substations; the work was undertaken as a joint venture with Taylor Woodrow and Alstom.

Boretech completed various reinforced concrete structures for Norwest Construction under the Severn Trent amp 4 framework.

 

Bolton Water Street Detention Tank

The project was to construct a detention tank 25m deep and 25m diameter as a venture with Miller Civil Engineering for North West Water Authority.

We provided all labour and plant to form the base and pre-cast roof section.

The project was to construct 14 shafts varying from 5m to 18m in depth along side the River Mersey and to construct two outfall chambers working in tidal conditions.
We provided all labour and plant including our own mobile cranes and designed and supplied the circular shutters and all access scaffolding and falsework.

 

Ladybower Viaducts Remedials

The project was to demolish the arches of the viaducts and recast. Due to the constraints all demolition was carried out using hand held breakers. The formwork had to be designed to split into manageable sections, as the use of cranes was not possible; this project was undertaken with Norwest for Severn Trent Water.
